Maine Medical Partners is seeking a Senior Director, Practice Operations to serve as the senior administrative leader for Franklin Health Medical Group in Farmington, ME, which consists of 5 Specialty Practices, 5 Primary Care Practices and 6 Inpatient Departments/Clinics supported by Franklin Health Medical Group Physicians.

The Senior Director, Practice Operations is responsible for providing leadership and direction in planning, guiding and coordinating practice operations. As a member of the Franklin Community Health Network senior leadership team, this position will be a significant contributor to strategic planning and business development efforts and will be responsible for the successful implementation of these plans.

Requirements:

  • ·       MBA or Master's degree in related field.
  • ·       Minimum of five years progressive and relevant healthcare management experience; including experience as a member of a senior leadership team.
  • ·       Extensive physician hospital practice integration and applicable program development experience.
  • ·       Knowledge and experience in developing and overseeing the implementation of an annual business and strategic plans.
  • ·       Knowledge of the principles and practices of healthcare administration, fiscal management and government regulations and reimbursements.
  • ·       Experience with Rural Health Clinic regulatory requirements
  • ·       Knowledge of Patient Centered Medical Home and Patient Center Specialty Practice designation.
  • ·       Knowledge of HR management practices including supervision and staff development.
  • ·       Skill in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision-making to achieve organizational objectives.
  • ·       Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective relationships with staff, physicians, executives and the public. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • ·       Knowledge and understanding of financials including revenue cycle and accounts payable.
  • ·       Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques.
  • ·       Proficient computer skills.
  • ·       Skill in organizing work to achieve goals and objectives.
  • ·       Ability to read, interpret and apply policies and procedures.
  • ·       Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • ·       Ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
  • ·       Travel between site locations required.

Stephens Memorial Hospital is seeking a Clinical Manager (RN) in Norway. This position will help lead our dedicated team of professionals in a busy practice that offers work/life balance.  You will experience the opportunity to use your specialized knowledge to recommend workflow process improvements, encourage staff to successfully do their best work, and make a meaningful difference in the health and quality of life of our patients.

The Clinical Manager for Western Maine Primary Care collaborates with the Practice Manager of the departments (Family Medicine and Internal Medicine) to provide daily operations, support and resource management. This role is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient clinical operations of the department while promoting customer and employee satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred or currently matriculated in BSN program.
  • Active RN license in the State of Maine. Current BCLS required for all. ACLS required for critical care departments. Other certifications specific to department policies may be required.
  • One to two years' demonstrated leadership competence or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to mentor and empower staff; to set the climate on each shift for cooperation and teamwork.
  • Self-directed and self-motivated with a firm understanding of leadership role
  • Effective communicator with the ability to create strong partnerships; serves as a role model through professional behavior and open, direct communication.
